Ceravive Bio-Ceramic Root Canal Sealer by Denu

Advanced Calcium Silicate–Based Endodontic Sealer

Ceravive Bio-Ceramic Sealer is a next-generation calcium silicate–based root canal sealer designed to provide optimal sealing performance, superior adhesion, and long-term clinical stability.

Made in Korea

Developed with a carefully balanced viscosity, Ceravive offers controlled flowability while maintaining strong hydration reaction and high late-phase strength for predictable endodontic outcomes.

Key Features & Benefits

✔ Optimized Viscosity

Slightly higher viscosity enhances:

  • Strong adhesion to canal walls

  • Improved bonding with master cone

  • Better hydraulic condensation

✔ Balanced Flowability

Provides sufficient flow to:

  • Reach working length

  • Adapt to canal irregularities

  • Minimize void formation

Excessive flowability can delay hydration and reduce long-term strength. Ceravive is engineered with the ideal balance between flow and structural integrity.

✔ Strong Hydration & Late-Phase Strength

  • Fast and stable hydration reaction

  • Excellent dimensional stability

  • High long-term mechanical strength

✔ Excellent Biocompatibility

  • Calcium ion release

  • Promotes favorable periapical healing

  • Suitable for long-term clinical use

✔ Radiopaque

Clearly visible on radiographs for post-operative evaluation.

Recommended Clinical Technique

Ceravive is a sealer-type material and is recommended for use with a master cone technique.

Standard Method (Recommended)

  1. Prepare and dry canal (slightly moist dentin acceptable).

  2. Insert master cone to working length.

  3. Apply Ceravive sealer.

  4. Perform hydraulic condensation.

Alternative Full Filling Method (If Used Without Master Cone)

  • Insert tip to working length.

  • Continuously dispense sealer.

  • Slowly withdraw tip while injecting to backfill from apical to coronal.

Improper mid-canal injection without gradual withdrawal may result in voids or incomplete apical sealing.

Indications

  • Permanent root canal obturation

  • Single cone technique

  • Warm vertical condensation (as sealer)

  • Cases requiring possible retreatment

Advantages for Clinical Practice

  • Controlled working time

  • Predictable setting

  • Reduced shrinkage

  • Easy retreatment compared to bulk bioceramic filling systems
